I'm just guessing here while waiting for an answer myself.

The more contact the ice has with either warm air or a surface, the quicker it can conduct and radiate away.

Personally, id try suspending it on the fewest number of paper tubes (3 or 4, easy to make) and build a fully sealed paper box around it. Make sure there's a gap all around, but not large. Remember an empty freezer takes more energy to run than a full one.

edit: If you're good at craftwork, insulate it a la double glazing - use a few tubes to stabilize if need be

Buy some paper towel rolls, as thick as possible. Tape the roll in line to make a container shape. Cover the bottom and top with roll of paper. Wrap more paper towel outside to block the joint. Six inches thickness paper towel can keep ice from melting at least few hours.

toddler food, and trouble-free to shop once you freeze it in an ice cube tray. Fill each and each compartment to the precise along with your pureed blends, and freeze. Then, take out the needed form of cubes at mealtime.
