Try to learn theory from the text books well. Apply them in practise. Many journals and books are available for getting hobbyist's kits. Try to use and make your own gadgets. you may not be able to do it well in the beginning but, with perseverance you can definitely become a good one at it. You should have both practise and theoretical understanding of the subject to go ahead. Moreover lot of trial software are available in the net which you can use to simulate electronic devices. That will help you to understand theory better. To be intelligent in your field you have to learn and study as much as possible. First you should have the attitude to learn; you will automatically be intelligent.

Here's how a good fresher's resume should be . (never exceed 2 pages )

Heading - Resume .

include your name, email id and phone no. in a corner . the email id should not contain underscore.

Objective - to be a trainee in the electronics/etc industry

( dont include statements like "i am a bright student blah blah ... " . because there is no way to substantiate such statements .)

Academic qualifications (in the below order):

BE/BTech- (institution , year of passing and percentage.)

class xii - "

class x - "

Technical skills - include matlab / orcad / labview / vlsi / C,C++ . ( in whichever field you have some practical knowledge)

Areas of interest - ( usually interviewers will ask from this section . the basic idea is to make you feel more comfortable . besides , if you are not good in these fields , you are not worthy of getting selected ). any subject , or part of the subject which you like . eg. microprocessor 8085 , etc . Include at least 3 .

Papers - any paper presentation . dont include if you did not present any. and dont mention any awards here .Learn the paper's contents thoroughly .

Projects - any mini-project / final year project / etc. dont mention awards here .Learn the project thoroughly .

Workshops - to show that you are keen on learning some extra things.

dont include if you did not attend any.

Awards/Achievements - mention any awards you got .Also, if you organised part of any symposium /conference , include it .It shows your organising/ leadership skills .

Extra-curricular activities/other - sports /culturals /etc . You can also mention things like "active blood donor".

Finally , your bio-data ( need not include everything mentioned below )

Your name , father's name , address , phone no , date of birth ,etc

Then end with :

Date and place on left . Name and signature on right .

There is no need to mention stuff like " this is true to the best of my knowledge blah blah blah ..." ... not needed at a fresher's level .

You can take the help of resume wizard in Microsoft Word and learn the basics of writing a resume. You can include the following side headings in your resume.

Objective

Qualification

Projects done

Skill set ( The software languages you know, the instruments you can work with, don't include basic instruments like Vernier Callipers)

Subjects studied

Achievements( if any, here again, mention if u have any noticeable achievement)

Address and phone number ( includes e-mail address)

The first page of your resume should contain your name highlighted. Also, give your e-mail address and phone number there.

Good luck !!

The best way to write a cv is using a template but if you are going to write your own then remember the following hints:

1-make it simple (don't use colores and styles )

2-begain with your personal information

3-but what the employee want not what you want.in another words but the required computer skills first as matlab autocad ...etc don't start with Ms office

4-your summer training is the key but them after your pesonal inf

Finally I have 2 templates that was made by my professor in college. they are designed for fresh graduate engineer send me your email and i will attach it for you if you want

There is no such thing as a perfect resume.... you can check out a resume template from Microsoft Word, just remember, it's not about how much you put in a resume, it's about what you put in it
