I am looking into HW and SW Engineering because it is good pay (around $75,000 a year or +) and it is something that I could see myself doing. I just would love to work in Apple Corporate. So in your opinion do you think this is a good career to get into. Serious answers only please.

Yes, hardware and software are really good careers. Being able to create or implement new technologies is fun and pays well. Keep in mind that you'll probably have to choose between one or the other since to become a HW designer you need a degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, to be a SW designer you need a software engineering or computer science degree.

There are hundreds of companies that hire both types of engineers and aren't that well known since they don't produce consumer electronics like Apple. Anyways, if you are good at what you do, you could apply for jobs anywhere.

since you would like to work in apple,It's better for you to go with software engineering.

they always work on the new apps for their new products.

the guys above have explained both fields very well..however,if you're interested in

hardware engineering, you should pursue a degree in either

Electrical engineering (there are many choices in E.E that you can choose to specialize)or hardware engineering.anyway,go for what you love the most.

Of course it's a good career, especially if it's something you'd love to do. It pays well, it's in demand in all kinds of industries from consumer electronics to health care, and it's just fun to create new things and see them work. The coursework can be demanding, but at least you don't need a graduate degree.
