Just replace everything before the 1.8k resistor with a simple DC voltage source
You would look for these components: DC voltage source, generic electrolytic capacitor, generic resistor, zener diode, a simple transistor such as 2n2222
In the simulation, simply vary the DC voltage source starting from 10 volts or so up and you should always get 9 volts in the output 4.7k resistor, less than 9 volts and the output declines.

you should see the samples available in the proteus software. These might be helpful. There are basic electronic circuit in the proteus samples and very complex circuits as well. All you need is there.

that concept grow to be written approximately in "The Hitchhiker's instruction manual to the Galaxy" by using Douglas Adams, an extremely humorous sequence of books. There it is the white mice that are the scientists interpreting the human race; that human beings think of it is any incorrect way around is basically an extremely sensible ploy. great concept, isn't it.

try an astable circuit using transistors?
Try what the 555 has.. a comparator, a set of resistors, a set reset flip flop etc...
