You could use a 100A DC circuit breaker. Make sure it is rated for DC.

Is that the type of protection you have in mind?

Not quite sure what you are wanting to protect.....the charger or the battery?

Commercial battery chargers will only draw and or deliver a specified current unless there is an internal problem with the charger, then the circuit breaker in your service entry will protect the charger.

If you want to protect the battery...follow the bench charging instructions for your battery....search Battery Council International (BCI), and match as closely as possible your battery to guidelines in the BCI tables.

To protect a circuit, total amperage must be calculated and the proper gauge wire must be used for that amperage.

Hope this helps...

each and all the solutions are dazzling new batteries may be greater costly than a sparkling drill i replaced into stung myself earlier! A observe of warning however i'm a joiner and used to constantly purchase hitachi 10+ years in the past yet have got here across their new kit to be very unreliable i does not touch them back lots of folk I artwork with have additionally got here across this they remember greater on fancy designs now. If the drill isn't used daily a greater inexpensive make may be greater advantageous, to no longer low priced however, Ryobi isn't undesirable for the funds. no count if it relatively is makita or panisonic is as reliable as you get. Splash out and get the makita 4 in a million result drill I even have one you does not be disillusioned.
