Does anyone know a good fly ash to use in a sulphur capping compound for breaking concrete cylinders?

We are getting low strengths in our compound cubes and I think the culprit is the fly ash, we have tried different ones in the past and something always seems to go wrong.

Have you looked into using the neoprene pads with steel caps. I'm not sure about with cubic sample testing but that's what we used where i worked last summer.
