All you can tell with a battery is the relative polarity of the windings. Put a meter (digital) across one winding. then touch the battery to one of the other windings, by looking at the voltage spike at the instant of energizing the winding you can determine the polarity of the metered winding. Only the transient current is of any value.

Like Bradley says. The quantity on the meter is the utmost you may degree so 20 could be stable for 12 volts. in case you choose to learn the 220ac on the socket, you may use 750 AC. in simple terms confirm you do not plug the lead into the 10A hollow. it quite is for modern-day and could short out any voltage you tries to degree. you may generally hit upon a well-known skill furnish on ebay for under the manufacturers sort. you purely could verify to get one it quite is a minimum of as many amps because of the fact the previous one and get the remarkable connector.
