I am trying to decide which course to take.
I am going to be a freshman in college and would like to major in some sort of engineering. I am good at math, so can someone tell me which course would be best for me and what type of engineering should i choose.

here are the course description the university gives:

introduction to engineering

An introduction to the practice of engineering design, the
creative process, reverse engineering, use of hand tools,
and the diverse career paths within engineering. This
course is intended for engineering students and other
students interested in understanding the fundamentals
of engineering and considering engineering as a possible
profession.

Foundation of engineering

Introduction to the engineering profession, ethics, and
disciplines; development of skills in teamwork, problem
solving and design; other topics include computer applications
and programming; visualization, orthographic draw-
ings and CAD tools; introduction to electrical circuits,
semiconductor devices, digital logic, communications
and their application in systems; Newton’s laws, unit
conversions, statistics, Excel; basic graphics skills. Corequisite:
MATH 2413.

intro to engineering sounds like an easy A class that may be a bit boring.

foundation of engineering sounds like a tougher class where they will teach you a bunch of stuff that you may or may not need depending on the engineering degree that you end up pursuing.

I would personally choose the tougher yet more interesting and useful class (foundation).

Look at their Engineering department. They will break down the different curriculums and one should be computer engineering. Also, ask the Admissions office at the school and tell them what you want. They can direct u to the correct department.

Well if you enroll in MATH 2413 (which I don't know what it is) I suggest you take Foundation of Engineering.
