I work in a little chemical company, exactly in a R&D Laboratory. We develop simultaneously tenth of easy projects.

Every project has the same milestones. We follow the many project using a big paper table reporting the different milestones (summary elements) in the top of every column (there are five columns). The different project are summarized in different post-it where we write the project title, some notes and a table with the five columns, reporting the conclusion date supposed for a given milestone. When a milestone is late we put a red sticker under the date of the milestone that is delayed in the post-it. When a project is developing we move the post-it horizontally along the milestone columns of the table.

I would like to ask if somebody knows a software able to simulate this.

I am sorry for my poor English!

Well, every online PM tool does this, you don't need a software to simulate this. Some of the things that you do are even automated by most PM software. Read about the ideal PM tool here: http://www.pmhut.com/what-would-an-ideal-project-management-tool-look-like (these features are in ever tool nowadays, and more)

You can try Team Task Manager. We use it daily to track projects and tasks, it's very intuitive and there is no learning curve. Overdue tasks are highlighted automatically. Free eval is here - http://www.deskshare.com/team-task-management.aspx
