I am looking to build a zero ohm 1KHz square wave signal source. Should be variable from 0 to 5 V P-P perhaps about 1 amp or more.

zero ohm? you mean zero source impedance?

not possible. Even a 6 inch piece of wire has some resistance.

you may be able to get to 0.1 ohm over a limited bandwidth with some work. Maybe even 0.01 ohms with a lot of work, and if you are allowed a 4 wire output, that is, remote sensing.

Not zero-Ohms...

But you could probably modify this circuit to suit your needs. Remove the speaker and add stronger transistors to suit your requirements.

with a filter out RC for KHz Frequency LC for MHz Frequency or an lively filter out it extremely is going to filter out off the better frequency factors of the squarewave. yet once you in basic terms choose to filter out off the third harmonic, use a notch filter out.
