It's basic electronics and its application(s) to communications systems (both wired and wireless). It will involve quite a bit of math and physics, but not much chemistry. I have no idea what the best colleges are in your part of the World, but you should get a Catalog from each college you're thinking about attending (or look them up online) and see which one seems to fit you best.

Math and physics. You'll learn the basics of circuits, analog and digital, communications and a number of other stuff. Get a catalog from a university and look at the course content or look online.
