IF the top view is A circle and the front view is A circle THEN what would be the SHAPE of the object BE ?

the shape of the object is actually not defined

that is why you need three views to define an object (top, front and side)

I can describe three simple shapes fit that the criteria

a sphere fits the criteria, but so does this shape

i dont know its name, but here are drawings I made of it

its a circle in front view

its a circle in top view

its a SQUARE in side view !

imagine you got a hunk of plasticine,

got a circular cooky cutter and pushed a circle down from top (blue lines)

then cooky cut the front (green lines)

you get left with the shape shown

you could even do that, you know with your own hands or

cut a circle in the top of a long bread roll (stale so its stiff), and make the shape that way

i accuratly drew 60-60-60 isometric and 3rd angle orthographic to scale so you can see.

the shape above is actually the largest shape you could make that fits the criteria

If u got a disc (like a coin) cut it in half down the middle and then

glued the pieces it to another coin in the same place you cut the first coin on both sides

you would have a circle in top view, circle in front view and

a CROSS (or plus sign, + ) in side view !

that is the smallest object you could make that fits the criteria

you could also do it with a pair of ellipses (like the discs), and make an x in side view

so there are many objects that fit the criteria, not just spheres
